Indian Railways is the largest railway network in Asia. With a modest beginning India on April 16, 1853, when first wheels rolled rails from Bombay to Thane, has emerged today as main vehicle for socio-economic development of country. Some services provided by are freight services, parcel carrier and catering, tourism other related owned Government India. 1.3 million employees, it employer organized sector The objective this study analyse passenger satisfaction problems regarding service railways. Primary data were collected interviewing 75 passengers Rail transport Tirunelveli with specially prepared interview schedule. researcher applied Simple Percentage analysis, Weighted Average one sample t- test help SPSS. It observed that group mainly consists female respondents age 20-40. Most unmarried graduates living urban area. students they prefer train travel because comforts. Passengers highly satisfied A/C class fare. If fare fixed basis distance, will be more satisfied.
